Our Story
Vitaliteen was founded by Lucy Winesburg, a 20-year-old American with a passion for mental health and nutrition. Born in Portland, Oregon, Lucy spent her childhood immersed in the vibrant outdoors of the Pacific Northwest. She developed an early fascination with how the food we eat affects not just our bodies but our minds. But her real turning point came when she moved to Nice, France, at 18 to study psychology and nutrition.
Living in France, Lucy noticed the stark differences in food culture. She saw how traditional, wholesome foods were central to mental well-being. Yet, many young people around the world were trapped in cycles of poor nutrition, believing in food myths that did more harm than good. This realization sparked the creation of Vitaliteen—a platform dedicated to empowering people through knowledge, helping them make informed decisions to nourish both their body and mind.
Lucy’s personal experiences—both in the U.S. and in Europe—gave her a unique perspective on how food directly impacts mental clarity, focus, and emotional balance. Through Vitaliteen, she now shares this journey, offering practical, science-backed advice to help others break free from the misinformation that clouds their relationship with food.
